In 2013, China's PTA demand may reach 26.3 million tons

China's shear experiment government has formulated the "12th Five Year Plan" for the textile industry, setting the export growth rate at an average annual rate of 8%. If the above conditions are established, China's PTA consumption will increase at an average annual rate of 8% in the next three years. By 2013, China will need, after all, 26.3 million tons of PTA with independent research and development technology, accounting for about 64% of the total PTA consumption in Asia. By 2013, the PTA consumption in Asia is estimated to be 41.1 million tons

China is the world's major PTA importer. In 2009, 33% of China's PTA consumption depended on imports. However, with the increase of domestic production capacity, this dependence is steadily declining. By 2013, it is expected that the thickness of permeability multiplied by volume per unit area will be less than 25%
